3. Our Services
Description of Services: Universal Inspections provides pre-purchase inspections on RVs, automobiles, commercial vehicles, and marine vessels. We also conduct inspections for extended warranty companies. These Inspections are visual and are intended to identify readily observable conditions and potential issues with the item being inspected at the time of the Inspection. Our Inspections are performed in accordance with generally accepted industry standards and the scope agreed upon with you or the extended warranty company.
Limitations of Inspection: You acknowledge and understand that our Inspections are limited in scope and do not include destructive testing, hidden conditions, or areas that are not readily accessible. Our Reports are based on observations made on the date of the Inspection and conditions can change over time. We are not responsible for latent defects or issues that become apparent after the Inspection.
Scheduling and Access: You are responsible for ensuring that we have safe and unobstructed access to the property and vehicle for the purpose of conducting the Inspection at the agreed-upon time. Failure to provide adequate access may result in a cancellation fee or rescheduling charges as outlined in our Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy.
Report Delivery: We will provide you with a written report following the inspection, typically within 48 hours of the inspection completion. The report will outline our findings and observations at the time of the Inspection.
No Guarantees or Warranties: Our Inspections and Reports are not guarantees or warranties against future defects or problems with the vehicle. We do not warrant the condition, suitability, or value of the asset. Our opinions are based on our professional judgment at the time of the Inspection.
4. Your Responsibilities
Providing Accurate Information: You are responsible for providing us with accurate and complete information necessary for us to perform the Services.
Reviewing the Report: You are responsible for carefully reviewing the Inspection Report and understanding its contents, limitations, and recommendations.
Further Investigation: We may recommend further investigation by qualified specialists for certain conditions identified in the Report. It is your responsibility to follow up on these recommendations if you deem it necessary.
Decision to Purchase: The decision to purchase the vehicle asset is solely yours. Our Inspection and Report are intended to provide you with information to assist in your decision-making process, but they should not be the sole basis for your decision.
5. Fees and Payment
Fees: Our fees for Services are as outlined on our Website or as quoted to you. These fees may vary based on the size, type, and location of the vehicle within Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee, as well as any additional services requested.
Payment Terms: Payment is due during the scheduling of the Inspection, prior to the release of the Report. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, company checks, and PayPal.
